How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Dylan Pines is a hard working man conforming to the typical males representation. Being a male, I am able to understand the pressure a man is put under to provide and also maintain his finance etc regardless of his past or education. The stigma of having gone through this pressure in which doubts his manlihood, only leaves him with one choice, which is to do anything to not only only maintain his finances but mainly maintain his manlihood. As the character is a 19 year old boy, we believed that it was necessary to still associate him with drugs (stereotypically speaking).
